CLIMATE CHANGE
Climate change refers to long-term shifts in the Earth's
temperature and weather patterns. these shifts may be
natural but since the 1800s.
Human activities are the main driver of climate change,
primarily due to the burning of fossil fuels which produce
gases that get stuck within our atmosphere.
In 1896, a seminal paper by Swedish scientist Svante Arrhenius
first predicted that changes in atmospheric carbon dioxide
levels could substantially alter the surface temperature
through the greenhouse effect.

CLIMATE CHANGE AND HOW DO WE STOP IT?

Saving our planet does not occur overnight. Earth is likely to take
millions of years to recover from the destruction currently being
inflicted by humanity, scientists have warned.
Everyone can help stop climate change. From the way we travel to the
electricity we use and the food we eat, we can make a difference.
We can start by saving energy in our homes. Use less energy by
lowering by remembering to turn off appliances that are not being
used.
Public transport, for us to stop the burning of gases we can try to walk,
cycle, use electricity-powered vehicles as our Public Transport.
By recycling, we can lessen the trash that pollutes our land and seas
that can end up being burned and the gas that it produces can get
stuck in our atmosphere.
