Present how water behaves in its different states within
the water cycle
Explain the properties of solids, liquids, and gases
based on the particle nature of matter.

>Review the properties of matter. Make some
clarification if needed and ask the students to give their
feedback about the previous lesson.
> Ask the students to share what they know about
water cycle. Take note of their misconceptions about
water cycle.
At the end of the lesson, the learners should be able
to:
1. Familiarize with the different phase changes of
matter
2. Explain the water cycle using the different
phase changes of water.
>Explain that matter is made up of tiny particles that
are too small to be seen. (Democritus)
>Show some illustrations of the movement of particles
in different states of matter.
>Ask the students to read and understand the
discussion part of the LAS
>Provide further explanation on the part of the lesson
where the students have difficulty. Give examples and
exercises for the students to master the lesson.
