Course Synopsis Design theory refers to understanding the methods, strategies, research and analysis of the practice of design.In this course,
students will learn about the key concept of design theories that are underpinning great design contribution in the field of
innovation design, fashion design, product design, visual design, fine arts and motion design.

Course Learning At the end of the course student will be able to:
Outcome (CLO): CLO 1 : Analyse theories applied in designed objects/artworks/media using the key concept of design theories. (C2) 40% - 48 hrs
CLO 2 : Apply design theories in a given problem/situation using the theories learned (C3) 40% - 48hrs
CLO3 : Explain the design theory application that is applicable to own practice in group presentation with visual aid.(A3)20% - 24 hrs
