Liquid level measurement

The liquid level of a tank can be measured via a glass level showing device. The pressure in a tank can
be measured via an U type manometer. The level can be measured via a float type device. The
difference on the liquid level can be measured by the measurement apparatus. We can use
capacitances for measuring the liquid level. For metallic tank, one electrode is used. For non metallic
tanks, two electrodes are used. The liquid level is measured from the control equipments. We can
also measure the liquid level by radioactive material. The intensity of the radioactive material is the
highest when there is no liquid in that medium. Those intensity will decrease as increasing the liquid
level of that medium.
Liquid level limiting devices

For this purpose, we can use float type equipment, capacitance type equipment and radioactive type
devices. We can limit the liquid level via oscillator type device. The intensity is high when the tank is
empty. With rising the liquid level, the intensity is decreased. So, the liquid level is limited.
