Verderlube’s viscosity reduces above
50°C, becoming more water-like and
reducing thermal transfer properties
By comparison, Silicone Oils are much

more consistent and retain good heat
transfer properties even at elevated
temperatures
In trials using a Dura 15 running at 50

rpm, 5 Bar we have seen over 10°C
difference in the running temperature
simply between Verderlube &
Verdersil
→ for high temperature applications
we are now recommending you use
Verdersil due to it’s better elevated
temperature thermal transfer
properties
→ Using Verdersil at room
temperature will allow Dura pumps to
be run 15 rpm faster
