SLOs: Students will be able to:
 define longitude and latitude with the help of a diagram.
 Explain the benefits of CPEC for the economic growth of Pakistan.
 Solve the ROL.
Skills focused on: Studying maps, identifying.
Resources: Board, Marker, Textbook.
Methodology (Selected in coordination meeting)
The recap will be, by asking questions like:
 What is the difference between longitude and latitude?
 What CPEC stands for?
 Sharing of SLOs and success criteria will be done by writing on the board.
 The question will be written on the board and students will give their feedback about the questions one by
one and it will be written on the board. Students will explain what they understand about longitude and
latitude with the help of a diagram on Pages 46, and 47 and will write the answers in their notebooks.
 Reflection of learning will be taken by assigning students question no. 4 in the textbook.
 Success criteria will be shared before written work.
Written work: Students will be asked to write answers of Q#2 and 3 on the Notebooks
Recap will be done by calling students near the board to write down the main points.
Success Criteria: Remember to:
 Present the written work in clear and legible handwriting.

Assessment Plan: Students will be assessed when they will be asked to write their written work.

 What do you know about coastlines?
 Do you know where the Arabian Sea is?
 Introduction of the topic will be done by writing on board.
 Sharing of SLOs and success criteria will be done by writing on the board.
 Use of Atlas to locate the Arabian Sea and its importance will be discussed.
 Teacher will discuss the geographic importance of Pakistan and will explain how our coastline along the
hot waters of the Arabian sea is important for neighboring landlocked countries and for China too.
 Explain the importance of the CPEC on Map.
 Success criteria will be shared before the explanation.
