INT. MORNING DAYLIGHT BEAMS INTO A FAIRLY DISORGANISED BEDROOM.

There is a ringing phone that prompts Austin to wake up and

answer it.

JUDITH
Good morning son…

AUSTIN
Good morning mama. How are you today?

We see Austin switching on his TV as he speaks on phone.

JUDITH
I’m Restless.

AUSTIN
Why?
We see Austin watching an inspirational speech and
can hear its sound in the background.

JUDITH
The grace of God got it printed deep in
my heart again.

AUSTIN
The fishing expedition?

JUDITH
Yes … wondering if you are excited to.

AUSTIN
Well it’ll depend on the fishing gear
and baits mama has to avail.

JUDITH
We’ll see about that 10:00pm your end.

With the inspirational speech sound in the background, Austin

starts to get ready for the day and heads to work.
At work, he arrives to cell training in a network marketing
company.

He finds his down lines already at office so he hands each of

them a UGX 10,000 note for breakfast as apology for coming late
after them. He then immediately begins training his down lines.

I see the head. Keep breathing, keep

DR. ALTMAN (O.S.)

Mary, I’m going to count to three and I
want you to push again.

MARY (O.S.)
(Simultaneously with Ryan)
No!

DR. ALTMAN (O.S.)

Mary…

MARY (O.S.)
(panting)
I can’t.

RYAN (O.S.)
Don’t push!

DR. ALTMAN (O.S.)

Mary, I’m counting to three. Ready?

Both MARY and Ryan sob.

DR. ALTMAN (O.S.)

Mary and Ryan scream as the doctor’s hands pull Ryan out.

DR. ALTMAN (O.S.)

Good, Mary, keep pushing. Come on, girl.

INT. DELIVERY ROOM - DAY

Ryan’s P.O.V. DR. ALTMAN pulls Ryan completely out of his mother
and holds him by the ankles. We only see the floor, his mother’s
spread legs and the umbilical cord stretching out of the frame.

RYAN (O.S.)
Oh My God.

A pair of scissors enter the frame and cut the cord. We hear the
sound of a SPANKING, making the frame shake.

RYAN (O.S.)
Oooow!
Now we hear BABY RYAN crying along with adult Ryan.

DR. ALTMAN (O.S.)

There you go, little fella. It’s a
handsome baby boy, Mom.

We hear Mary crying with joy. The doctor rushes Ryan to a table.
From Ryan’s P.O.V. we suddenly see a fluorescent green number “1”
written on the ceiling.
