Objectives:

 To promote reading literacy among pupils and students

 To rekindle the interest of school children in reading through enrichment
activities.
 To involve various stakeholders in the event to promote a sense of
community responsibility
 Select the best pupils to represent the district in the division contest on
Pambansang Buwan at Araw ng Pagbasa

Nowadays, children were more interested in

gadgets and video gaming rather than reading. Gone
are the days when children’s habit is reading books,

conformity with the nationwide celebration of 2022
Pambasnang Buwan at Araw ng Pagbasa with the
theme “Pagbasa: Pundasyon ng Kaalaman at
Pagkatuto sa Kasanayang literasi:

20 pupils
The half day activity will be conducted on
November 16, 2022 at F. Baldovino Elementary School. Teachers/coaches
This will be participated by 20 pupils from the 10
schools and the school reading coordinators in the School Reading Coordinators
district.
