Pre-lesson
1. Have students open their books to page 75 . Direct students’ attention to the vocabulary
section at the top of the page. Play the CD a few times and have students to point to each
word and repeat .
2. Say the words again in random order and have students repeat and point .

Lesson delivery
3. Direct students’ attention to the pictures around the song and ask them where they think
the girl is in each picture .
4. Tell students that they are going to listen to a song. Read the title out loud and encourage
students to guess what it’s going to be about .
5. Then , explain to students that they will have to write the correct time of day under the

pictures of the places that girl goes to. Point out that the times of day are written in red.
6. Play the song once and have students to listen to the song .
7. Play the song a second time, pausing after the verses that mention the places and the time
of day so that students have time to write in the correct time of day.
8. Play the song again for students to check their answers .
9. Check students’ answers as a class by pointing to the pictures around the song and asking
students When was she at the shopping centre ? Encourage students to answer In the
Morning.
10. When students feel comfortable , invite them to sing the song

Pre-lesson
1. Stick the flashcards of amusement park and circus on the board .
2. Point to each flashcard , say the word a few times and ask students to repeat after
teacher .
3. Ask students if they’ve ever been to a circus or an amusement park . Encourage students
to answer .
4. Take out a book and pretend to be reading it with great interest . Then , close the book
and say It was interesting . Repeat the sentence and encourage students to repeat after
teacher . Then ask students to guess what the sentence means .
