GENERAL DESCRIPTION
SERIAL BUS ADAPTER The 100 is a communication module that
connects through a cable supplied with
instruments equipped with serial TTL, TTL communication line and
RS-485 serial line ready for connection to the Televis System.
USER INTERFACE
The user has two LEDs:
- The red LED (POWER) indicates when the instrument is
powered (power station).
- The green LED (RX-TX) shows when the instrument
communicates with RS 485 (flashing).
MODELS AVAILABLE
The BUS ADAPTER 100 SERIES has two models:
• BUS ADAPTER 130
• BUS ADAPTER 150
The 130 models have an auxiliary output at 12V (5 VA) that
connects to 12V power instruments.
All models are optoisolated.
Models 150, in addition, have reinforced insulation. This insulation
allows you to connect to the network without the same tools (tools
that present hazardous voltage circuits, including TTL serial port).
All models also feature 485 serial output (dual port), TTL port.

• The connection between the modules and the instruments of the system is done through a cable with conductors of 0.5 mm2.
• The length of the RS 485 network shall not exceed 2,000 m.
• To attach the cable always follow the regulations. We recommend to use screened cable (eg Belden cable model PVC sheath 8762, two more
drivers mesh, 20 AWG conductors rated from 89 pF, rated between one conductor and other conductors connected to shield of 161 pF).
The strips can be of two types:

ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
Attention! Work with electrical connections only with the instrument switched off.
The instrument has screw terminal blocks for connecting electrical cables with a maximum section of 2.5 mm2 (one conductor per terminal
for power connections).

The cable shield is connected to the Gnd terminal, the shielding must be grounded.
