LANZ: Solar Philippines has taken a further step toward massively expanding

the nation’s renewable capacity, including one of the world’s top

capacity. Another unit is developing a 500-megawatt solar farm in the

Nueva Ecija province in the north, and the firm has ventures with other

parties including an Ayala Corp. unit.

piece with an approximate length of an inch can replace 500L (five

power a house for 4 (four) months. They created a big nuclear power

plant with more than a meter thick walls, and safe facilities that can

power 25% (twenty-five percent) of the country without carbon

emissions.

 The study's 'Fast Transition' scenario shows a realistic possible future

for fossil-free energy systems by around 2050 (two thousand, and fifty),

providing 55% (fifty-five percent) more energy services globally. The

researchers analyzed thousands of transition cost scenarios produced

by major energy models and used data on: 45 (forty-five) years of solar

energy costs, 37 (thirty-seven) years of wind energy costs and 25

(twenty-five) years for battery storage.

Marcos Jr. visited through New York with senior officials of the

revolutionary nuclear energy company NUscale Power. The nation will

examine the possibility of deployment of modular nuclear power

stations, as per Jose Manuel Romualdez, the country's ambassador to

the United States. In order to provide power, heat, and clean water on a

large scale, NuScale is developing advanced nuclear technologies.

The first and only nuclear power plant in the nation, the Bataan Nuclear

Power Plant, was shut down out of worries for potential mishaps. The

California-based company WasteFuel, which uses tried-and-true

technology to manufacture sustainable fuels, has spoken with

 President Ferdinand E. Marcos Jr. WasteFuel transforms urban and

agricultural waste into low-carbon fuels, renewable natural gas, and

MARILYN: Former Socioeconomic Planning Secretary Ernesto Pernia made a

pitch for the expanded development of so-called waste-to-energy

(W2E) projects. W2E is at best a problematic concept; the way in which

it is viewed and promoted in the Philippines is most likely dangerous.

Plastic-derived fuel, which is already used in considerable quantities in

cement kilns around the country, is the worst. Any for-profit model, such

as the public-private partnership (PPP) model, will encourage rather

than penalize the irresponsible generation of waste.
