Fault/ Defect Description: Corrective Maintenance (CM) reported by Station Master (SM).
“183813” FCU-CL-W-167 showing General Fan Fault from BACS, serving North
Under Platform corridor.
When ACIFM team reached the location and noticed that BACS showing
general fault in FCU-CL-W-167.
Actions Taken: • Checked in the field and noticed that the asset tag number was wrong,
the asset tag number placed in the control panel, not in the FCU (FCU-
CL-W-113).
• Team had checked FCU controller input voltage which found to be
normal meanwhile the FCU not functioning.
• Tried to run the FCU through bypassing its command from the
controller between terminals 29 & 30 but the FCU not functioning its
shows Failed to run in BACS.
• BACS command and status feedback to the unit has been normal but
the terminal 4 & 5 of the controller are in open position.
• Measured the voltage in both the temperature sensors and observed
that the Voltage receiving normal (1.610VDC & 21.61VDC).
• Checked the output voltage from the transformer for the actuator and it
was receiving normal (26.28VAC).
JV shall fix the issue and ensure the FCU functioning normal and BACS free
