Don “K” Talks About Montana
Republican “Supermajority”
by Aaron Flint, Montana Talks
If all of the latest election results hold following the
counting of the provisional ballots, and if a 10 vote lead
survives a recount- Montana Republicans will hold 103 of
the seats in the state legislature. They’ve already secured a
“supermajority”, the question is how big.
To top it off, Republicans also won both of the
statewide congressional seats that will be held by Matt
Rosendale in the East and Ryan Zinke in the West.
We spoke with Don “K”, the Chairman of the Montana
Republican Party following the big Republican victories in
the 2022 elections in Montana.
Don “K”: “Montanans decided to keep Montana,

Bigfork falls in semifinals
By Mike Brandt
Who are these Rams? Well, after Saturday everyone
will know that the Missoula Loyola Rams are for real.
This is a team that came into the Class B football playoffs
with a 4-5 record and were then fourth seed out of the
Western B.
So, this is what the playoffs are all about!
The Rams had to go on the road for their playoff
games. It all started in Townsend where the Rams
upset the Southern B champs, 27-13. Then it was a
long trek across the state to Shepherd when the Rams
were successful once again, this time 14-7. Now for
the semifinals Loyola went to Bigfork, a little closer to
home, for a 14-6 win over the top-ranked and previously
unbeaten Vikings. Bigfork was the lone Class B team
without a loss, until Saturday.
Loyola scored in the third quarter after a scoreless
first half. The Rams defense then made two goal line
stands in the final minute to get the upset victory.
The Rams (7-5) took a 7-0 lead when Aiden Round
connected with Malik Lyttle for a 17-yard touchdown
on a fourth-and-14 play with 3:18 left in the third, Talen

was half the distance to the goal and was announced in
