-1. She said that over the next 3 years the company will expected a growth of 10% but out of 10 ....5 of
them will retire, those who will retire are providing a unique historical perspective of company which
means that the growth expected will be affected or there's a chance that they may not meet the
expected growth of the company.

-2. She has concerns about productivity,so she think working at home will save company cost, which
means for me in regards to communication it will not be easy for Jennifer to work progressively, there's
an instances of difficult of cignal/ internet connection.

2. )What are some considerations the company and HR should be aware of when making changes
related to this case study?

- I think it's employees background when it regards to personal location company ability to provide
necessary equipments ( laptop,computer,etc...)

that will be used by employees if they implement work from home.

3. ) What would the initial steps be to start planning for these changes?

- I think the initial step to be start, is by planning this changes are the trial for 1 month if this work
from home will be effective.

4. )What would your role be in implementing these changes? What would Jennifer's role be?

- As a newly HRM my role will be organizing human power and implementing roles and policies and
Jennifer's will be the observer of the process and approved the changes.
CASE NO. 2

I started to join my company in middle of June this year as HR Manager, it was really tough and
challenging for me since day 1. The company I work with is a family owned business, di pa ko na
reregularized pero i think nasa more than 10 na yung na gawan ko ng termination notice. In short
terminated employees na yun cila.

More than 50% i would say illegal dismissal sana but then i know how to prepare the NOT kaya na

Currently we have an average of more than 10 SENA & NLRC cases almost terminal pay and COE
concern. Mga 4/5 na settle ko with DOLE. Napakabigat lang tlaga that is why i need to hear your
opinion and pieces of advice.

Right now yung recruitment supervisor ko gustong iterminate ng owner because of the offenses na
hindi naman grave, like napag utusan ng hr consultant namin to canvas for xmas party venue, nagalit
yung owner kc pinapakialaman daw yung role nya kc every year sya daw yung nagpaplan .

Another thing my nag resign na employee 10 days palang hind nakapagsign nang employment
Then yung
owner mismo (mag asawa) they want her out kc tao daw sya nang previous hr manager which i know

Parang ang babaw lang nang reason , it is very subjective.

Now, gusto ko nang mag give up because it is not healthy anymore and will just look for another job
kaso im pregnant. Hopefully i could find here jobs you would recommend, i have been applying for a
work from home job kaso parang wala akong luck sa WFH job. I really feel the burden na every time
my tiniterminate, super dooper napakabigat tlaga.

Parng i started to lose my purpose in the HR Industry na minahal ko for almost 14 years kahit hindi
naman ako psychology graduate.

Answer:

Dahil you have experience Naman in HR, maaaring magamit mo Ito sa WFH job. Gaya ng online tutor
which is very need ng mga studyante ngayon, dahil kailangan nila ng gabay sa pagoonline class, atleast
sa online tutor Wala Kang iteterminate which is nakakapagpabigat ng damdamin no ba maaaring
makasama Kay baby.
CASE NO. 3

I am a recruitment specialist for a Manpower Agency, and most of our clients are from POGO
industries.

We have an opening for company drivers right now, and the salary offer is only 14,868 plus OT, usually
po kasi 12hrs duty sila.

We received lots of negative feedback, some are even saying that's it below minimum and siguro daw
marami pang rude comments.

I understand somehow kasi malaki din po yung offer ng iba lalo na pag POGO, we also tried to

Is there an approved wage po ba for company drivers? And how should I deal with those rude
comments?

Note: 1 year of work experience lang yung qualifications na hinahanap and also. Free food and
accomodation din pala.

Answer:

Siguro dahil 1 year of work experience Lang Ang hinahanap at free food and accommodation din,I
think 14,868 payment is considerable for company drivers . And about sa rude comments ,siguro
kailangan mo Lang ng maayos na paliwanag Kung bakit ganoon Ang kanilang offer and always
remember to have control over yourself ,choose not to give it to drama no matter how another
person acts your own behaviour just as they will have to own theirs keep your cool. Take a deep
breath and give yourself space to calm down if someone giving negative comment to the company
that you are working...
trabaho. Remember you don't have to stoop to their level, and doing so will probably only make
matters worse. Maintain your dignity and rise above the fray.

CASE NO. 4
Scenario: A friend of mine was terminated due to habitual tardiness. I asked if was he ever given a
written warning man lang ba sana before humadlang sa termination agad, hindi daw so I was
schocked. Usually po kasi di ba if regarding tardiness, suspension muna ang nagiging sanction talaga
sa isang empleyado.

But he was never suspended po. He was never given a written warning as a black and white reminder
man lang sana. Take note that this is for a "habitual" tardiness only (as stated in his termination
letter), not "abusive".

I asked if had he reviewed again their policy ba or natatandaan ba nya policy nila regarding tardiness
and timekeeping, he mentioned na more than 10 days of tardiness daw in a quarter ganun daw talaga
ang nangyayari. I said paanong "ganun talaga", ano yung specific, kasi parang di naman dumaan sa
tamang due process ang nangyari, no memo nor NTE was served - no warning at all.

Then I tried to ask na lang if I can see their policy regarding their attendance and TK but he said na
tinanggalan sya agad ng access to view their policies right away as he was given a termination letter
on the same day na he never expected last day nya na pala agad. Ganun po ka-immediate. Nagtaka
din ako kasi hindi man lang din sya pinag render man lang. Sobrang biglaan.

Ayun question po, is this even legal? Ano po pwede nyang gawin or dapat nyang ginawa? And ano po
mga pwede or possible na mangyari.

Answer:

Hindi, it is consider as illegal dismissal..it is right of an employee to be notified of the reason for his or
her dismissal and, in case of just causes to be provided the opportunity to depend himself or herself .
walang pahintulot o abiso may be questioned through the grievance machinery established under the
CBA . Pero pag Ang complaint ay Hindi na resolved sa ganoong levek, it may be submitted to voluntary
arbitration.
