CAREER GUIDANCE PROGRAM

Overview

The career guidance and counselling becomes a very important part of a students’ life so that they can find their right track in

the upcoming future. According to an online source, career guidance is a developmental process that facilitates the acquisition of

attitudes; skills and knowledge to help students better understand themselves while exploring viable education and career options that

eventually result into making informed decisions with developed plans to achieve their career aspirations.

Rationale

First and foremost, CESFI doesn’t have Career Guidance Program for the students except for the annual NCAE for grade-nine

students. Based on my observation, students lack knowledge and understanding what path they really want to achieve, most of them

just follow what their parents would want them to take. With that, I want to help students know and have a clear understanding of

their career paths, like that some are utterly confuse with what to choose. I want to support and motivate the students to reach their

goal which is essential for them to be successful even if they are still young up to when they reach the time when they need to make

decisions.
