1. Why is it essential to comply with the standard operating procedures (SOP) set by
the university/college/department?

Management establishes standards to maintain righteous and acceptable workplace behavior.

It serves as a guide for students and trainees on how to carry out procedures safely and correctly.
Thus, it ensures the proper handling of food to avoid contamination in any form.

Standard operating procedures ensure improved quality control and increased accountability
in the workplace. It also improved efficiency. The more work you can accomplish, with minimal
amounts of effort, the more capital you have to spend in other areas. Additionally, inefficient
workplace processes sometimes yield frustrated, unproductive employees. Furthermore, it
reduces operation wastes as they know how they allocate their resources properly. They can
avoid over production and waste that can lead to loss in profit.

In conclusion, when all employees follow the same guidelines, management can easily
monitor and evaluate students' and trainees' performance on specific tasks. It is simple to
compare them to the same standards. Performance can be evaluated fairly. This is especially
evident when high-performing employees are rewarded while low-performing employees are
retrained or placed on probation.

relationship with the customer. It involves the commitment of resources to offer the desired level
of service. It is a critical phase that is dependent on quality and can shape a company's image in
the minds of its customers.
Other than customer satisfaction, this stage also defines the operation's performance. It
evaluates the daily performance through sales evaluations and accomplishments made
throughout the day. The evaluation of employees is also being done in this phase by the
managers of their respective groups.

The evaluation phase is the most important part of the post-service stage. It gathers and
analyzes information about how the group performed. Receipts were collected and turned over
to managers during the post-service stage. Sales are being tracked at this point because the main
goal is to make as much profit as possible from the previous operations And before leaving the
premises, tools and equipment are inspected to ensure the workplace's safety and cleanliness for
the next operation.
