Clinical Practice Theories

The nursing profession is dedicated to acknowledging the unique body of knowledge that is
essential to nursing practice and nursing science. Nursing-related ideas and theories must be recognized,
developed, and understood by nurses if they are to discern this base of knowledge. The 21 Nursing
Problems Theory developed by Faye Glenn Abdellah is the best nursing theory for my clinical work.
According to the notion of the stated theory, nursing is built on an art and science that shapes a nurse's
attitudes, intellectual abilities, and technical skills into the desire and capacity to assist people, whether
they are ill or not, in meeting their health requirements which are my key focused in the clinical practice.
Additionally, theory of behavior therapy will be the counseling theory that will best guide my practice in
psychotherapy. The goal of theory of behavior therapy is to assist clients discover the reinforcements that
are fostering unfavorable thought and behavior patterns and swap them out for reinforcements of more
desirable ones which another key objective in the practicum plan.

Conclusion
Nursing is a process of action, response, and interaction in which the nurse and the patient
communicate information about how they view the environment in which they are working together.
Through communication, they define objectives, consider options, and come to an agreement on how to
get there. The nursing practicum objectives will direct and guided me in interactions with patients,
working hand in hand with patients to achieve healthy objectives. My therapy approach will be influenced
by 21 Nursing Problems Theory and theory of behavioral therapy. The timeline provides an estimate of
when certain tasks should be completed.
