Job description
We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Oil & Gas Services UAE for a:
 
Mechanical Rotating Supervisor
 
Job Purpose:
 
This position is a unique opportunity to be responsible for oil and gas Rotating equipment maintenance works in offshore oil
installations, mainly in general maintenance of Rotating Equipment’s such as Pumps, Agitators, Fans and experience is similar position
for Maintenance Campaigns.
 
Your main duties will be to: -
•       Use of modern inspection methods and practices (inspection and supervision techniques.), read and understand P&ID, GA drawings,
Isometrics, O&M Manuals including preparing the isometric hand sketches, preparing bill of materials from the drawing, including
preparing/Updating procedures from documents.
•       Supervise Rotating Equipment’s Maintenance activities in Oil and Gas Offshore facility covering various types of Pumps
(Diaphragm, Double Diaphragm, Centrifugal, and Reciprocating), Diesel Engines, Air Compressors.
•       Use of modern inspection methods, standards and practices (inspection and supervision techniques).

Profile
Ideally you will have completion of Technical Secondary Education Certificate followed by three years formal training leading to a
diploma in Rotating trades with a minimum of 15 years work experience in oil and gas Rotating equipment maintenance works with a
minimum of 7 years’ experience in offshore oil installations, mainly in general maintenance of Rotating Equipment’s such as Pumps,
Agitators, Fans and experience is similar position for Maintenance Campaigns.
You will meet below requirements:
• Trained in the use of modern inspection methods and practices (inspection and supervision techniques.) Should be able to read and
understand P&ID, GA drawings, Isometrics, O&M Manuals including preparing the isometric hand sketches, preparing bill of materials
from the drawing, including preparing/Updating procedures from documents.
• Trained in the use of modern inspection methods, standards and practices (inspection and supervision techniques).
• Thorough knowledge of offshore safety procedures and related practices.
• Thorough knowledge on various hazards associated with O&G equipment.
You are fluent in English, and fluency in Arabic would be an advantage.
