The first things come in my mind about shopping online is accessibility and security.

For me,
electronic shops have helped me a lot for purchasing things from daily activities need until my
gadget shopping. The advantages that I feel and experienced when shopping online are

1. Fast, need a little time to choose and buy the things that I need.
2. It is easier to pay the goods, without having to withdraw money from bank and pay it
cash on the store.
3. Can be done anywhere, it is really useful when I am on a tight schedule.
4. Safe petrol. Since Jakarta’s traffic jam is terrible, going to store and buy goods will
waste petrol.
5. Can buy first and pay it next month using the installment system in the online shopping
website.

It can be seen from my point above that for me, shopping online has brought many advantages.
But there are also disadvantages and problem that occur when I was buying goods online. Those
problems are:

1. Hacked credit card. Last time when I was buying a bag from US my credit card was
hacked and used by American people to buy food, online goods and many other items.
That person hacked and used my credit card until the limit of the card. This makes the bill
of the credit card goes very high and become a problem, off course I did not have to pay
for those but up until now that credit card can’t be used anymore. This makes me unable
to use that credit card to pay for things again.
2. Payment problem. The day before yesterday I was paying for my house electrical bills
when suddenly the website of the online shop was having problem. After the website
back in use again my payment was not processed but the money already deducted from
my bank account. Thus up until now I loss that certain amount of money because of the
website problem of the online shops.

Therefore, it can be seen from my points above that shopping online has advantages and
disadvantages. For me, I will continue to use online shopping service because of its convenience
and easiness. But I will learn from the problem above and make sure that those things will never
occurred anymore.
