9. A tv producing company is daily producing 100 tv sets. Find the
profit per tv set from the following information.
 Direct material cost=RS 250000
 Direct labour cost=RS 150000
 Factory overhead = 50 % of direct labour cost
 Admin overhead = 20% of factory cost
 Sales overheads = 30% of process
 Selling price of tv sets = RS 8500.

 Cost of oxygen = Rs10/m3
 Cost of acetylene= Rs 25/m3
 Density of filler metal= 7gm/cc
 Welding speed= 3m/hr

 Overhead charges = 10% material cost
 Melting charges = 15 % of material cost

 Density of costing= 7.2 gm./cm3

4. A diesel power plant has a capacity of 1800kw .its pick load
and load factors are 1700kw and 85 % respectively. Estimate
power generation cost of this plant.
5. A thermal power plant produces 80mw to satisfy maximum
demand .load factor of plant is 40 % estimate power cost
per unit for power produced by this plant, operating cost Rs
1.94/kwh.
