Collect equipment and non-

spoilable materials (meat

grinder, sausage stuffer,
fruit, herbs, spices, salt,
natural hog casings, etc.
If the meat is freshly killed,
you'll only have a few days
to get all the processing
done before you should
have the meat frozen.
Carve the meat into 1-2
inch chucks suitable for
grinding
Prepare different
seasonings that you like to
put for your desired flavor
of sausage.
After applying the
seasonings to the meat,
you must freeze it before
grinding.
Grind meat and flavorings
into sausage
Re-partially freeze sausage
Stuff sausage into casings.
Fully freeze sausages.

How are eggshells processed to productive and industrial use:
A wide range of possible uses for pure egg shells (ES), egg shell membranes (ESM), and
ES+ESM combinations have been researched and show tremendous promise.
Crude eggshells and ES are already used as calcium supplements for both animals and
humans after heat treatment to remove potential sources of microbial contamination.
ESM proteins are widely utilized after treatment to change the functional properties of
meals, such as gelling or foaming.
They are also employed in nutritional goods as a source of tiny peptides and amino
acids.
Using the strong adsorption properties of egg shells, a product was recently released in
China to remove pesticide residues, pathogenic microorganisms, and industrial waxes
from the surface of fruits and vegetables.
ESMs, which are high in collagen, are employed in a variety of applications.

How are eggshells processed to productive and industrial use:

In terms of industrial uses, a thin coating of unprocessed egg shells has been
demonstrated to protect building materials from UV-light, giving an environmentally
acceptable alternative to inorganic photoprotection additives such as titanium oxide.
Crude eggshells treated at high temperatures have also been utilized as a catalyst in
the manufacturing of biodiesel.
ES is an appropriate precursor for the synthesis of a high-capacity absorbent for the
removal of various contaminants in wastewater, enabling heavy metal ion removal, or
functioning as a bio-adsorbent for various purposes in the textile industry.
Better and more widespread use of egg shells would not only add value to the egg
processing industry, but would also strengthen its already good environmental
reputation.
