WORKBOOK 2

NAME:__________________________________
GRADE & SECTION: _____________________
Let’s have a Review!
From our previous lesson, answer the
following questions.
1. (-9) x 5 x 2 = ____________________________________________
2. (-4) x (-2) x (-6) = _______________________________________
3. (-8) x 0 = ________________________________________________
4. 9 x (-1) x (7) = ___________________________________________
5. 12 x (-11) = ______________________________________________
6. (-11) x (-13) = ____________________________________________
7. (-10) x 9 x 7 = ____________________________________________
8. 12 x 10 x (-3) = ___________________________________________
9. (-2) x (-14) = ____________________________________________
10. 0 x 13 x 5 = _____________________________________________
11. (-14) x (-5) = _____________________________________________
12. (-12) x (-7) = _____________________________________________
13.4 x 7 x (-8) = ____________________________________________
14 . 10 x (-2) x (-15) = _______________________________________
15 . (-13) x 12 x (-2) = ________________________________________

Now that we have reviewed our multiplication of

integers, let’s move on to our subtraction and
division.
Subtraction Practice:
Let’s practice our subtraction skills by answering the following.

1. 67 2. 49 3. 47 4. 96 5. 56

- 18 - 34 - 10 - 19 + 17

6. 354 7. 876 8. 865 9. 1000 10. 845

- 246 - 198 - 598 - 350 - 569

11. 4545 12. 9498 13. 9540 14. 9580 15. 5580
- 4089 - 7009 - 8218 - 7619 - 6121

16. 6000 17. 6510 20. 6510 19. 7718 18. 6894
- 4521 - 5219 - 5219 - 6669 - 5288
Subtraction of Integers:

• If the Minuend is Negative, and the Subtrahend is

positive, Add and copy the negative sign.
• If the Minuend is Positive and the Subtrahend is
Negative, Add the numbers and the difference is
positive.
• If both are negative, Subtract the smaller number
from the greater number. The sign of the difference
is the sign of the Minuend.
• If the Subtrahend is greater than the minuend,
Subtract and place a Negative Sign on the
difference.
Try it!
1. (-5) – 7 =
2. (-9) -10 =
3. 10 – 20 =
4. (-7) – (-5) =
5. 50 – (-18) =
6. (-78) – 12 =
7. 89- (-11) =
8. 12 – 58 =
Division:
• Dividing by one (1): Any number divided by 1 is the
number itself.
• Dividing by two (2): Every even number is divisible
by 2
• Dividing by three (3): If the sum of its digits is
divisible by 3, it is divisible by three.
• Dividing by four (4): If the Last two digits are
divisible by four, the number is divisible by four
• Dividing by five (5): Any number ending at 5 or 0 is
divisible by 5.
• Dividing by ten (10): Any number that ends with 0 is
divisible by 10.
Note when dividing:
• Check if the dividend is a multiple of the divisor.
• If it is not a multiple of any number, use long
division method.
Let’s Try!
Divide the following numbers:
1. 35 ÷ 5 =
2. 39 ÷ 3 =
3. 27 ÷ 9 =
4. 36 ÷ 12 =
5. 56 ÷ 8 =
6. 420 ÷ 10 =
7. 550 ÷ 5 =
8. 66 ÷ 3 =
9. 450 ÷ 9 =
10. 68 ÷ 2 =

11. 780 ÷ 20 =
12. 450 ÷ 50 =

13. 360 ÷ 60 =
14. 248 ÷ 40 =

15. 765 ÷ 3 =

Dividing Integers:
• When the Dividend and Divisor are negative, the quotient is
positive.
• When one of the Divisor or Dividend is negative, the quotient is
negative.
Let’s Try!
Divide the following numbers:

1. 35 ÷ (-5) = _______________________________________

7. (-550) ÷ 5 = ______________________________________
8. 660 ÷ 3 = _________________________________________
9. (-450) ÷ 9 = ______________________________________
10. 796 ÷ 2 = _________________________________________
