From what we have heard, the Minola sisters
had a big quarrel and Kate slapped her sister
for the reason that Bianca refused to tell her
which man she adores most. When their
father comes in to try to break up their fight,
he only angers Katherine more by showing
that he favors Bianca over her.

to Bianca and got angry at Kate, without trying
to understand the circumstances and

Could this be the reason behind her ugly

attitude? Did her father treat her right ?
Maybe Baptista was favoring Bianca too much
to the point where she became spoiled. And
Kate might be jealous of the parent's love that

it, it does make me feel sympathy for Kate. But
at the same time, she should not use violence
to solve her problems and she should be
considerate towards Bianca as they both are
blood relatives.
