Activity Procedure
I. Warm Up Use student cards 105-112 to practice What does (she)
wants?
II. Presentation of Introductions
New Topic A. Learn the words.
1. Play Class CD2 Track 10. Have students listen and point
to the pictures of food in their books.
2. Point to the pictures of foods in the top row. Explain that
these words are plural.
B. Ask and answer.
1. Have students look at the picture and identify all of the
foods they see. Then play class CD2 Track 11 and have
students listen and point to the objects.
2. Play the audio again and have students repeat the
questions and answers.
3. Have student pairs take turns asking and answering
questions about the pictures.
4. Play Class CD2 Track 12. Have students listen, clap, and
chant along with the audio.
C. Ask your partner.
1.Read and question and answer and have the students
repeat with you chorally.
2. Give a boy Teacher Card 120 and ask the class Does he
like steak?
3. Have student pairs take turns asking and answering
questions about the pictures.
4. Play Class CD2 Track 14. Have students listen, clap, and
chant along with the audio.
D. Listen and do.
1. Use gestures and movements to demonstrate each action
as you say it aloud. Let the students do the same with you.
2. Play Class CD2 Track 15. Have the students listen to
sentences and point to the picture that show each action.
Play the audio again and let the students repeat the
sentences.
3. Show Teacher Cards 121-124 and have students say and
do the actions.

Divide the class into two teams and draw a line down the
