0. LESSON OBJECTIVE
 At the end of the lesson, the learners must be able to identify Proper
Fraction.

Instructional Material: PowerPoint Presentation, flashcards, cartolina and
hand-outs.

     B. Learning Stages

1. Activity
The teacher will show a whole pizza picture and the class will identify
the given scenario:

“A mother bought a whole pizza with 8 slices. Ana eat 2 slices of


pizza while John eat 3 slices and their mother eat 1 slice. How many
slices are left?”

2. Analysis

● What food did the mother bought?


● How many slices are there in a whole pizza?
● How many slices of pizza were eaten by Ana, John and their mother?

3. Abstraction

● What is fraction?
● What is numerator?
● What is denominator?
● What is a proper fraction?
● What is this shape?
● What is the total parts of this shape?
● How many shaded parts in this shape?
● What is the fraction form of the shape?

4. Application
Fraction Bingo Card
Instruction: Identify the given fraction models and find the answer
inside the fraction bingo card.

The Teacher will group the class into 3. The Teacher will give each group
one fraction bingo card. The teacher will show 5 fraction models and the
students will find the fraction form answer inside the bingo card. The first
group who can create a vertical or a horizontal line will get 5 points while
the rest of the teams will get 3 points

IV. ASSESSMENT
Direction: Identify the fraction by shading the parts of the shape that represents
each fraction.

V. ASSIGNMENT

Direction: Identify the fraction by matching the Diagram in Column A with


the correct answers in Column B.
