BASIC YOGASANAS

Yoga keeps both our mind and body healthy.

1) Tadasana (Mountain Pose)

Interlock your fingers and turn the wrists outwards.


Raise the heels off the floor and balance on the toes.

• Increases height
• Cures indigestion
• Strengthens our arms and legs
• Helps to remove lethargy

2) Vrikshasana (Tree Pose)

Lift your arms up and join the palms.


Bend the right leg and place the foot inside the left thigh.

BENEFITS
• Strengthens our thighs, calves, ankles and back.
• Increases flexibility
• Improves our balance and concentration.

3) Padahastasana (Hands to feet Pose)


Bend forward to touch your feet.

BENEFITS
• Increases the blood supply to the brain.
• Massages digestive organs and prevents constipation.
• Stretches and makes the entire spine flexible.

4) Ardha Chakarasana (Half Wheel Pose)

Drop your head backwards.


Support the back at the waist.

BENEFITS
• Strengthens neck and shoulder muscles
• Improves lung capacity and cures respiratory disorders
• Tones the lower back muscles and improves flexibility of back
• Improves heart function and controls blood pressure
