ABSTRACT
The word disaster comes to us through middle French and the old Italian word
disastro, from the Latin word prefix dis and Latin Astro meaning “star”. A disaster is a
sudden calamitous event which brings great damage, loss or destruction. It mainly influences
the fate of human and animal life. The Lisbon earthquake of 1755 was probably the first
natural disaster worldwide. The biggest natural disaster in India is Cyclone AMPHAN, which
destroys huge property loss and human life.
The major problem associated with disaster response is due to the inefficiency
of planning, the lack of public awareness about disaster risks, the fault or defective
predictions of upcoming disasters, poor urban planning, security situations, tools and
infrastructure and lack of financial assets.
The main objective of our community service project(CSP)  is to save the lives
of humans and animals from disasters. To help them move away from the place of disasters
by immediate action. To provide essential goods and commodities to the affected people in
those hazardous disasters.  To overcome all these situations we make awareness about
disasters for people through the education system. By preparing weather and land reactions
forecasting with the help of certified persons. And provide the warning systems through their
mobile notifications by using the present digital technology.
In this abstract overview of recognition and prevention of natural disasters is
presented, disaster, natural disaster, principal and components of natural disaster, phases,
types, causes of natural disasters, and the impact of natural disaster are listed followed by the
guidelines provided by the Geologist and Geographer and present digital world technology.
We demonstrate the total content with the help of the below table of contents.
