Overview
Our goal is to inform incoming USF business students all the ins and
outs of dining options available to them at USF. We want to make
transitioning to USF as less stressful and exciting as possible. In this
handbook you will learn about the different dining options, their
locations, student reputation, payment methods, and how to get there.

Convient Restaurants on Campus

1. Rocky’s Hideout
Accepts: Dining Dollars, Cash, and Credit Card.
Contains Boar’s Head Deli and Java Cafe. They offer
made-to-order sandwiches, smoothies, pastries.
Located inside the BSN building.

2. Champions Choice
Accepts: Meal Swipes, Dining Dollars and Credit Card
One of the three dining halls, open Monday to
Friday ONLY for students with meal plan plus

Meal Plans
The University of South Florida has allowed any and all students to purchase a meal plan
for the various dining halls around campus. Every plan can be customized to your needs
and dietary restrictions. They are flexible and convenient while still being loaded with
many options to choose from so you know you are getting guaranteed value. Every meal
plan also comes with dining dollars to spend at any of the on campus restaurants like
Chick Fil-a, Einstein Bagels, Moes, and many more!

These meal plans are put in place at the University of South Florida to make it convenient
for students to be able to grab a quick bite to eat while being able to stay focused on
their goals. Whether it's school, work, or sports The University of South Florida makes it
easy for students to succeed.

Student Reviews
An online survey was conducted among students at USF asking different
things about the food options on campus. The survey was open to all students, not
only business ones. This survey was also conducted amongst students that are
graduating in different years.

Transportation Around Muma College of Business
This section is aiming to help the new students of Muma
college to figure out the best transportation options. Once you
finish this section, you will be able to find your favorite way to
get to Muma College.

Your Options of transportation:

1. Walking
It is the best option for the students who live on campus because the
distance from the Halls to the college is about 15 minutes.

2. Bicycle
Going to the college by bicycle is a good choice for the students who live on
campus or nearby the campus because the infrastructure around the
university is supporting bicycle riders.

3. Bull Runner (Bus)
Bull Runner is a transit system provided by USF for students and staff. As a
USF student, you can use this system for free. The only requirement is to
have your USF ID with you to show it to the driver. The Bull Runner has two
stops in front of the Muma college of Business. The first one is in USF Alumni

Dr, and the second one is in USF Genshaft Dr. These two stops are the best
options because the bus stops are next to the college. Keep in mind that the
Bull Runner schedule is:

● from 7AM until midnight from Monday-Thursday


● from 7AM until 6 PM on Friday

4. Car
This option is the best option for the students who lives off campus and far
away from the campus. The students have to park their cars in specific
parking lots. The nearest parking lot to Muma college is Lot 22. The student
must have a permit to park the car in the parking lot which can be purchased
by going to the USF Parking Portal where there are different types of permits.

● “E” permit is for USF employees.


● “R” permit is for the students who live on campus.
● “S” permit for students who live off-campus. It cost $90 per semester.
● “D” permit is a daily parking and costs $5 per day.

The students who park their cars in lot 22 have a feature which is the parking
spots are a lot so you do not have to worry about finding a parking spot,
unlike other parking lots where you must come early to find a parking spot.
In case you are not sure what type of transportation you will use; you can
purchase daily parking which costs $5 each day.
