Question:

You are the marketing advisor for Sonway Hospital. In order to improve the quality of the services
and facilities provided at Sonway, you have conducted a survey of sales performances of 2
hospitals in the region. Analyse the performance of two hospitals from February to April 2020.
Observe the trend, provide possible reasons for the trend and explain. Link the information
presented in both visuals. Your writing should be between 400 – 500 words.

Figure 1 shows the performance of 2 hospitals during Covid-19 outbreak. Meanwhile,
table 1 shows the facilities and services available during Covid-19 outbreak from
February to April of 2020. It is generally known that the performance of EdgeKL is far
more better than Sonway in term of sales, facilities and services during Covid-19
outbreak.

In addition, table 1 also shows that the availability of on-demand Covid-19 test of the 2
hospitals. Before the pandemic happened, both EdgeKL and Sonway were not providing
the swap test because they did not expect the outbreak of the coronavirus. The
performance of 2 hospitals during the pandemic are getting better because both of the
hospital do provide the test kit when the outbreak started. The sales of the EdgeKL are
able to surpass the Sonway because they were the first hospital to provide the test kit.
Therefore, the sales of the 2 hospitals are getting better.
