 Poverty
poverty is a condition that prevent human beings from
meeting their needs and from finding opportunities for
development.
People who earn less than 2 dollars per day are consider
to live in poverty.
 Social exclusion
Unable to live decent lives due to the lack of public
services like water drainage, electricity, health care and
access to housing and education they are said to suffer
social exclusion.
Socially-excluded people are at disadvantage with
respect to the rest of the population.
Many men and women suffer social exclusion because
they belong to ethnic, minority or migrant groups which
impides acces to the services.
 Hunger
People suffer of hunger when they do not have enough income
to provide food to themselves, these are the most serious
consequences of poverty and social exclusion malnutrition and
hunger particullary affect specific age groups, like children,
young and oldest people, and the mostly affected people in
poor countries like Africa, Asia, Latin america and Oceania. The
majority of the population suffers hunger due to poverty.
 Malnutrition
People suffer of hunger when they do not have enough
income to provide food to themselves, this leads to
amlnutrition, these are the most serious consequences of
poverty and social exclusion, malnutrition and hunger
particullary affect specific age groups, like children, young
and oldest people, and the mostly affected people in poor
countries like Africa, Asia, Latin america and Oceania. The
levels of malnutrition in developed countries in Europe,
Australia and North america, is low.
 Discrimination
Means distinguishing or excluding people based on their
income level, gender, ethnic origin, sexual orientation, political
ideas, religion, or other factors that prevent them from
exercising their rights and enjoying the same opportunities for
education, employment, etc.. as every one else.
In countries like Mexico, Turkey and China there is
discrimination toward minority and indigenous people, while
in some parts suffer discrimination by the dominant
population, mainly because some enter the country illegaly.
