RCMETC QPr44 SAO STUDENTS ORIENTATION
PURPOSE
Designed to orient students/ cadets as to School Policy, Procedure per department and the
general Policy of the entire Institution. Introduce the different facilities and equipment
available and to answer questions before they are asked and to provide solutions before
problems occur.
SCOPE
1. Conduct of orientation.
2. Students Organization registration
3. Students activities
4. Students complaints
RESPONSIBILITY:
Students Affairs is responsible for the development and implementation of various programs
and services that focus on the non-academic aspects of the student's life in the College, such
as the acquisition of values and skills for lifelong learning. It is the responsibility Student
Affairs Director to ensure that the primary concern of the school is the welfare of the
students.
PROCEDURE
Conduct of orientation
Policy
It is the policy of the school that all officially enrolled students/ cadets shall participate
in the conduct of orientation .
Procedure:
1. SAO Director shall prepare a letter address to President thru General Manager for the conduct
of General Orientation for students
2. Forward Letter to Dean for approval
3. Distribute approved letter to all department
4. Prepare venue for the conduct of Orientation

Policy
Students who want to form an organization shall apply in the SAO Office. All student
organization shall be required to submit all requirements before it is duly registered and
recognized. Student Organization shall follow SAO Rules and Regulations as reflected in the
manual.
Procedure:
1. Student or group of students shall fill out students Org. application
2. Submit all requirements to SAO, (Name, minutes of the meeting, list of Officers ,
purpose , Plans and Programs, Calendar of Activities and Constitution and By Laws
of the Organization)
3. Check documents as to authenticity and purpose
4. Interview of Officers by the SAO Director
5. Final approval by the SAO Director
Student or group of students shall fill out students Org. application Student Org.
Student’s activities
Policy
Students Organization in cooperation may hold Extracurricular activities that will help
students develop their social skills and learn how to work in a team to achieve a shared goal.
These activities allow students the opportunity to explore different areas of interest, increase
self-confidence, build leadership skills and even improve grades all while having fun! These
activities may be deliver upon request and approval by the SAO Director.
Procedure:
Student’s Complaints
Policy
Student’s complaints must be in writing and must affix the signature of the complainant
otherwise the same shall not be entertained. Written complaints must be address up tp
maximum of fifteen days from receipt of written complaint.
Procedure
SAO Director shall review the written complaint upon receipt and within 5 SAO
days
SAO Director shall call all parties in writing for a preliminary hearing SAO
