A Place lhe machlne on a level ground and

lower lhe work equipment to lhe ground.

* Test EGR valve and KVGT oil pressure under

lhe following conditions.
• Coolant temperatura: 30 to 102'C
• Hydraulic oil temperatura: 45 to 55'C
* The standard values for lhe EGR valve drive oil
pressure and lhe KVGT drive oil pressure are
lhe sarne, because they share lhe sarne circuit.

4. Start lhe engine and measure lhe oil pressures
1. Open lhe engine hood and remove step (1)
atlowidle.
* When EGR valve and KVGT driving oil
pressure are within lhe following standard
range, they are normal.
Drive oil pressure of Min. 1.2 MPa
EGR valve and KVGT Min. (12.0 kg/cm2)
KVGT contrai oil 0.3 to 1.0 MPa
pressure (3.1 to 10.2 kg/cm2)

2. Disconnect hoses (2) and (3).
• Hose (2): Hydraulic circuit for EGR valve and
KVGTdrive
• Hose (3): KVGT contrai pressure circuit

5. After finishing lhe test, remove lhe testing toais

and restore lhe machine.
