What Diwali means to us
It is the festival of lights.. A day where we
unitedly celebrate the triumph of light over
darkness through songs, enjoy a delicious
assortment of food and observe fireworks
bursting in the sky.

Case Study 1
On October 28, a youth group
comprising of students from
various colleges took the Diwali
celebrations to the residents of
Ishaprema Niketan, located in
Nana peth, a home for the
abandoned and destitute seniors
as well as a daycare centre for
working mothers from slum areas
Case Study 2
Padikattugal, a youth forum in
the city distributed clothes and
sweets to children affected with
HIV. After required money is
mobilised, they take the children
from orphanages for shopping
before the shop opens for public.
