BELLEZA
Good day everyone, today we will talk about God’s love.
What does it mean that God is love?
God is the perfect example of true love. Everything God does is loving. Love is an
attribute of God. Love is a core aspect of God’s character, His Person. God’s love is in
no sense in conflict with His holiness, righteousness, justice, or even His wrath. All of
God’s attributes are in perfect harmony.
ESPANOLA
We are all part of God’s creation. Right after the creation of the world, man fell away
from God, deciding against God’s love and bringing evil into the world. But God is willing
to forgive and give another chance. In fact, God loves us so much.
MADRENA
There are 2 perspective of love:
Love as a feeling - It is a love that is merely based on EMOTION.
Love as a virtue - When love becomes not merely a feeling we have, but a settled
disposition.
HUCALINAS
There are three attributes of God:
First is omnipotence or all-powerful. Omnipotence means that God is in total control of
himself and his creation. Second is omniscience or all-knowing, this states that God is
the ultimate criterion of truth and falsity, so that his ideas are always true. Lastly is the
omnipresence or all-present, It tells that God’s power and knowledge extend to all parts
of his creation, he himself is present everywhere. Together they define God’s lordship,
and they yield a rich understanding of creation, providence, and salvation.
DOLORFINO
Freedom.. It is the power given by God to act or not to act, to do this or to do that, and
so to perform deliberate actions on one’s own responsibility. FREEDOM implies the
possibility of choosing between good and evil HOWEVER, the choice of evil is an abuse
of FREEDOM and leads to the slavery of SIN. When Adam and Eve disobeyed God,
they did not choose something God created, but, by their choice, they brought evil into
the world. God is neither evil nor did He create evil. Man brought evil upon himself by
selfishly choosing his own way apart from God’s way.
He will always forgive us. Come before Him again and repent, then begin again with a better
understanding of your mistake to avoid it. He will continue to embrace us unconditionally. We
are only humans, and we will make mistakes, but God is Good, and He will understand what we
did.
