The final measurements of the vest are listed below. The pattern is available in 5 sizes from S to
XXL and is written in US terms.

Pattern notes:

- The Magic Colors Vest is made from 2 identical panels that are sewed together.
- The ch 3 at the beginning of the row counts as the first dc.
- The length of the foundation chain divided by 2 gives you the length of the vest.
- For the foundation you will need a multiple of 2+1 sts.

Pattern

Right panel

Row 1
Ch 225 sts for the foundation chain. Ch 3 more sts and starting and in the 6​th​ st from the hook
make 1 V st, [skip 1 st, 1 V st]. Repeat [-] to the end of the row. Finish the row by skipping the
second to last st and put 1 dc in the last stitch. Ch 3 and turn.

Row 2
Put​ ​1 V st between the 2 dc’s of the V st from the previous row. Repeat to the end of the row.
Finish the row with 1 dc in the 3​rd​ st of the turning ch. Ch 3 and turn.

Next, repeat row 2 until you have in total:

● S –​ 33 rows
● M –​ 36 rows
● L –​ 39 rows
● XL –​ 42 rows
● XXL –​ 45 rows

Fasten off and repeat the same pattern for the ​Left Panel.

Assembling

Joining the panels to make the back side

Lay the panels next to each other, with the foundation chains facing each other. Starting from
the bottom, join 55 V sts to create the back panel. Leave the remaining 56 V sts for the front
panel.

Joining the sides

Fold the piece in half. Starting from the bottom, join 35 V sts to sew the sides together. Leaving
21 V sts for the arm holes. Repeat for the other side.

To finish
Add an edge around the vest by making 2 rounds of sc.
Weave in all the ends and block the vest to fit the measurements.
