WL = 8 inches
WS = 3 inches
Required:
Calculate the Moment of Inertia Ix’ (in4) at the Geometric Centroid of location L = 40 inches
from the root chord
















2. I-Beam


Given:
L = 120 inches
h2 = 8 inches
h1 = 4 inches
b = 3 inches
t = 0.5 inch

Required:
Calculate the Moment of Inertia Ix’ (in4) at the Geometric Centroid if x = 80 inches
