1.0 74X0 New LCD Display

The LCD display P/N 3900000038 has been replaced by the new one P/N 450000022 for
obsolescence reason.
It is not compatible, as it requires:

1. PC board model M886 (that only works with BACKEND board CI22)
2. SW Release 5.51 or higher

Point n. 1 is true only for MyLab Alpha, as MyLab Gamma started its life with PC board
model 886..

New display Old display

As you may see from the picture, the two displays are a little bit different.
The old display has two different resolutions 1280x768 or 1280x800, instead the new
monitor has a resolution of 1366x768.

1.2 Replacing a previous display model with the new one

In case MyLab mounts an old display model and you need to replace it with the new display
P/N 450000022 you need additional parts:
• n. 1 LCD Spare kit covers – P/N 330001666 (that includes the following two parts)
o n.1 LCD FRONT PANEL for LG Display - P/N 330001029
o n.1 REAR LCD COVER ASSY - P/N 330001667
• n. 1 LG LCD Display – P/N 450000022
• Kapton
• Hot melt glue
The Rear LCD cover assy includes the rear cover with release buttons and other parts.
In particular, as the new LCD Display has eDP protocol, but the unit provides LVDS output,
an LVDS to eDP Converter is necessary (P/N 250007300), that is stuck on the rear cover
and it has its specific connection cable towards the LCD:

The Rear LCD cover assy also includes the antennas, while their cables will have to be
unstuck from the old covers and re-stuck on the new ones.
