Statement of the Problem

This study is focused on a certain problem related to the effort to overcome the
difficulties of smart-shaming in using language towards the academic performance of
the students. Based on the background explained, the problem is stated as the
following question:

1. What are the demographic profile of the students .

a. Age c. General Average (1st Semester S.Y. 2018-2019)
b. Grade and Section

2. What the students’ problem grammatical weakness (especially on the use of

english language .)

3. What are the impact of smart shaming to the academic performance
