European Union Monitoring Mission Georgia CONTRACT OF EMPLOYMENT FOR LOCAL STAFF No 425 European Union Monitoring Mission in Georgia (budgetary period from 15 December 2017 to 14 December 2018), hereinafter referred to as "the Employer", and Lela ABRAMISHVILI citizen of Georgia, 46/50 Kostava Str, 0179, Tbilisi, Georgia, hereinafter referred (o as “the Employee’, HAVE AGREED AS FOLLOWS: Articl 1. The Employee shall be engaged as a Secretary to HoM. S/he shall assist the Employer in carrying out his mandate, and shall fulfil the tasks entrusted to him/her as specified in Annex IV = Job Description which forms an integral part of this Contract, 2. The Employee may be required to perform other tasks as requested by the Employer. 3. The Employee shall report directly to his/her line manager as per his/her job description. Article 2 1, The Employee's place of engagement shall be TBILISI and elsewhere in Georgia as directed by the Mission and following the Mission duty travels. 2. The Employee may be required to take part in missions (official travel) in other locations where the Employers activity so warrants. Article 3 1. This Contract starts on 15 December 2017 ends on 14 December 2018. Article 4 1, The employee shall be placed in Group 2, Step 9. 2. The Employee shall be entitled to the following remuneration package: — \ (6 diet Pasetlrs A wlizfiz y \ IS 12, 1% * @) Basic monthly (gross) salary of 5153 GEL, payable on monthly basis [in arrears], b) 13" salary calculated proportionately to the period served, Article 5 1. Terms and conditions of employment as well as the rights and obligations of the parties to this Contract shall be set out in Annex I! - The Labour Code of Georgia and Annex Ill - General, Service Conditions of Local Staff Employed by EUMM Georgia serving in Georgia. The Employee acknowledges receipt of a copy of Annex Ill - General Service Conditions of Local Staff. 2. By signing this Contract, the Employee also confirms acceptance of and compliance with the terms and conditions set out in Mission SOPs, Administrative Instructions and the Code of Conduct and Discipline for EU Civilian CSDP Missions. 3. Mission SOPs, Administrative instructions and Code of Conduct are on the mission intranet : drive. The Employes hereby acknowledges his/her obligation to study these terms and ‘conditions on the Mission intranet (PAEUMM_SOPs_and_Administrative_Instructions_NEW\Active Guiding Documents). Article 6 1. The Contract can be terminated in accordance with Labour Code of Georgia 2. The written termination notice is duly delivered when sent by letter or by mail to an Employees address specified in this Contract or other subsequent address provided in writing ‘to Employer. Article 7 1. Duties and Responsibilities: The local staff member will be required, in accordance with the EUMM mandate, the Code of Conduct and the EU Conditions of Service for nationally employed Staff members, o perform the following tasks: ‘© Assist the HoM with the daily tasks; ‘© Manage the calendar of meetings and appointments of the HoM; * Perform administrative and secretarial duties, draft memos, letters, faxes and other requested documents and maintain filing systems; ‘* Receive and distribute all correspondence as routed by the HoM to the appropriate official, staff members as destined; ‘© Initiate, develop and maintain appropriate administrative systems both paper and electronic for the HoM’s Office; ‘+ Follow up on all travel schedules for the HoM, including liaising with Administration for authorization, entitlements, flight reservations etc.: © Organize and monitor the system of week-end duties; * Liaise with Mission staff and others outside the Mission to support HoM’s activities; * Monitor attendance, sick leave and annual leave of all staff in the HoM’s Office; ‘* Check and ensure sufficient stock of stationary materials is kept in the office for usage by all staf; ‘* Conduct administrative tasks required by the Deputy Head of Mission/Chief of Staff; ‘* Send written invitations or by phone, arranges booking of facilities, ees ‘Perform other work related duties as requested. Eligibility Criteria: * Successfull completion of a full course of university studies attested by a degree in Business/Public Administration Management, Law, Intemational Relations, Political Science or other related field, where the normal duration of university education in the country awarded is 3 years or more and, after having obtained the university degree atleast 5 years of relevant and proven full-time professional experience; ‘+ Syyears of professional experience in the respective field of work; ‘© Enjoy full civil rights and do not have criminal record; * Excellent communication skills in English and Georgian; ability to write end communicate in a clear and concise manner; ‘Be physically fit to perform the duties relating to the post; such physical fitness should be attested by a ‘medical certificate Essential Criteria: © Experience in positions requiring excellent organizational skills, with a service oriented approach; ‘© An ability to work to tight deadlines with minimal supervision; ‘© Excellent communication skills in Russian language; © Good knowledge and experience of Office Suites Additional Assets: * Professional experience in an EU and/or international environment; © Experience of working in an intercultural environment, with respect of diversity.
