INTRODUCTION

At present, the advancement of technology, globalization and the growth of commerce

have exceeded the limits through the knowledge of the language, therefore, learning
English is of the utmost importance in the professional growth of every person.

In this evidence, you have the opportunity to know the particularities of a real situation to
take it as a reference in a case analysis that allows you to identify the importance of
establishing good communication when handling the language with an interlocutor.

To comply with the objective of this evidence, consult the video called Les Luthiers -
Radio Tertulia - Part VI on the internet or another research source, after observing it,
answer and argue in English the questions that are posed below:

1. ANSWERS

a) What communication problem did you find between the two parties?

The problem was that the interviewers did not speak or understand the English
language and neither did the interviewees of the musical group "London Spection"
understand Spanish to give them corrections.
Simply for the interviewers to do their work, they “translated” the words that resembled
the Spanish language, distorting everything.

b) Was the information given by the announcers correct? Justify your answer.

Of course not, since they do not understand the English language, they only tried to
translate and associate the foreign words with those of their native language. They did
not understand how they met, or where, or their debut and even less the whish as a
group, they only thought they had the need to go to the bathroom.

c) List other similar situations that you know of where this problem occurs.

When we talk with another person about things in common such as a movie, book or
series and the person has not seen it or does not know it and only continues with the
chat so as not to seem clueless.

When we are not paying enough attention to the person who speaks to us and we
respond to anything.

In general, if we don't know English, we won't understand song lyrics and we think they
say other things, the series that we like so many or the movies.

d) What do you concluido from this situation?

It is extremely important to speak, listen, understand the English language and more in
our international business career: for self-improvement, for globalization and for
professional development if we want to stand out in such a competitive job market.
