Last Saturday, August 18, 2022, we couldn't find Pablo and Marcos talking,
when suddenly We saw how a worker from the house across the street,
climbing a mixing buggy up a ramp, fell from the second floor, hitting his
back, his head and breaking his right leg. We immediately ran to help him
and the blow was so strong that the worker was unconscious, I got very
scared and from my cell phone, I dialed the 123 emergency line, I
immediately got an answer and the operator who attended me was very
diligent, the first thing what he did was ask me what the emergency was, I
told him that a young worker had just fallen from a ramp from a second floor,
when he was transporting material, then he asked me for the name of the
injured person, I told him his name was Juan Carlos then told me to be quiet
and calm, and not to hang up the call until the ambulance arrived, I told him
that the boy had hit his back, his head and had broken his right leg, that the
boy was unconscious, didn't answer calls, told me not to panic, and asked
for my name and the address of the place where the events took place, to
which I told him that my name was Juan Pablo Osorio, the address was Cra.
36 # 18-36 B/Alamos de Occidente, that my address was Cra. 36 # 18-43
Alamos de Occidente, the operator asked for the name of the injured
person, I told her his name was Juan Carlos, about 22 years old, I asked
him how he could help while the ambulance arrived, because we did not
know what to do, since the boy did not he was moving and apparently blood
was coming out of his head and he had fractured his tibia, the operator said
that she will check if he had a pulse, look at his eyes and check for other
injuries. I told him that he had a blow to his back, but it was not known if he
had a fractured rib, the area was all purple. The operator said to clean the
bleeding from his head to see exactly which side it was bleeding from, in
those moments my friend Marcos brought a small plate with warm water and
a white blanket, he was cleaning the wound when the ambulance arrived, I
told the operator that I had to hang up on him because the paramedics were
already checking on the wounded man, they put him in the ambulance and
took him to the Estancia clinic. Mr. Enrique, a construction foreman, and I
were in the car on the way they put an oxygen mask on him and injected
him into his right arm, when he arrived at the emergency room Juan Carlos
reacted, they took him down, the nurses opened his medical history and
minutes later the traumatologist arrived, who ordered some tests and a skull
tomography, a chest x-ray and apply antibiotics to prevent infection in the
leg wound. From there we left and the last thing I knew was that the boy
was hospitalized for about a week.
