PUTTING TIME IN MAN’S TIMING

Introduction:
Time is extremely important in our life; it helps us structure our daily lives and activities, so that
we can live more organized with productive lives.

Definition of time in our life:

what is our definition about time? Importance of time….
Science - illus : theory of evolution
to a computer – bank will be bankrupt, how you will calculate the maturity date
business sector – Stock exchange - time is money (time is gold)
employee – 8 hours work is important, to calculate overtime (it is difficult to work 24/7)
A time to know Christ
A time to Accept Christ
How important the time of God in our life

Even the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ it is a perfect timing

- Think if our Lord Jesus Christ born in Old testament time

- Old testament Christians is looking forward for the savior

God's Perfect Timing"

Galatians 4.1-7 

Now as we think about "God's Perfect Timing" ...

THE PERIOD OF GOD'S PERFECT TIMING.
Verse 4, "But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman,
born under the law."

Do you see the word "fullness?"

It refers to something that is full or filled or complete.
Illus : Glass with full of water
used to describe pouring water in a glass until it was full!
And when Paul says that God sent forth His Son in the fullness of time ..
he was saying that everything that needed to happen in preparation of the arrival of Jesus had
taken place.

The time was right! The world was ready!

PUTTING TIME IN GOD’S PERFECT TIMING

1. You’re in good Hands – hindi ka kakakaba kaba – Assurance of salvation

John 10:29 - My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to
pluck them out of my Father's hand.
John 10:30 - I and my Father are one.
2. You’re in good foundation
If our foundations Jesus
a. Sure – sigurado ka sa iyong papupuntahan
b. Simple – John 14:6 (put your trust in Jesus)
c. Steadfast – (then you have a firm foundation)
3. You’re in good attitude
Romans 8:28 -  And we know that all things work together for good to them that love
God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

1. You are NOT in good Hands –

Ripped from today's headlines, The Jesus Thief by JR Lankford (Great Read Books LLC, March
2003, $26.95, ISBN 0-971-86941-3) explores the controversial issue of human cloning. Even
more controversial in this instance is that the object of the cloning is Jesus Christ. 

In this bizarre story, we find biochemist Dr. Felix Rossi stealing fibers from the Shroud of Turin
(the burial cloth of Jesus Christ) to extract DNA from the blood thereon. Then, the highly
capable and reputed scientist begins his search for the woman who will carry this embryo to
term. 

The question--if one believes that cloning is a good use of scientific energy--is why clone the
Son of God? Rossi's motivation for doing so is that after the death of his aunt, he discovers that
although he was reared as a Roman Catholic, he is actually Jewish. He believes that by bringing
Christ back to life, he can remove the stain of the Crucifixion (perpetuated by Jews) from the
collective memories of all Christians. 

Intriguing subject matter, for sure. Even more intriguing is that the author, JR Lankford, an
engineer turned writer, after being turned down by a major publisher, was given tens of
thousands of dollars from nine individual donors to publish the book. Lankford and her
supporters formed their own publishing company, Great Reads Books LLC. 

The novel has generated a great deal of press and has likely sparked much discussion on a
number of hotbed topics. As literature, however, I think it takes on too much. Indeed, the
various interwoven story lines are so cumbersome and unbelievable that the story of the
cloning of Christ becomes secondary, as the reader attempts to keep pace with the various
twists and turns of the contextual framework of the story. 

And for this reviewer, reading Roman Catholic prayers on one page and lurid descriptions of
sexual encounters on another was unpleasant at best.

The novel is to be praised, though, for the wide range of apparently accurate biochemical,
physiological and medical information contained in the text. The clear manner in which this
material is presented adds value to the novel. 

I would not recommend the book as a "must-read." Yet the book will, like the issue that it seeks
to address, generate various opinions and much discussion.

 Many people believe that the second coming of Jesus Christ is
a myth however a number of scientists are going to attempt to
bring back Christ through cloning.

The Second Coming Project is a not-for-profit organization

devoted to bringing about the Second Coming of Jesus Christ,
as prophesied in the Bible, in time for the 2,000th anniversary
of his birth.

Their intention is to clone Jesus, utilizing techniques pioneered

at the Roslin Institute in Scotland, by taking an incorrupt cell
from one of the many Holy Relics of Jesus' blood and body that
are preserved in churches throughout the world, extracting its
DNA, and inserting into an unfertilized human egg), through the
now-proven biological process called nuclear transfer.

The fertilized egg, now the zygote of Jesus Christ, will be

implanted into the womb of a young virginal woman (who has
volunteered of her own accord), who will then bring the baby
Jesus to term in a second Virgin Birth.

If all goes according to plan, the birth will take place on

December 25, 2001, thus making Anno Domini 2001 into Anno
Domini Novi 1, and all calendar calculations will start over.
