This poem was composed by Shaykhul Islam Alhaj Ibrahim Niasse Al-Kaulakhee, and it
comprehensively gives the attributes and qualities of the Prophet ‫ﷺ‬. It was narrated
that Shaykh Ibrahim was in his house one day contemplating on the great personality of
the Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬as usual. It was cloudy and then a lightning struck, the brightness
therefrom reminded him of the brightness of the Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬so he (Shaykh Ibrahim)
started crying profusely. Then he picked his writing materials and wrote this blessed
poem of thirty-three (33) lines.
