WRITING TIPS

First of all, alamin mo muna kung bakit mo gustong magsulat. Like for example, through writing
nakakahanap ka ng freedom, happiness or gusto mo na magbigay ng inspiration sa ibang tao.

Second, dapat pag nagsusulat ka, you must put your heart in every letters. And you must also remember
that you write because you want to, you want to improve and explore yourself, not for fame.

Third, hindi madaling magsulat. Hindi talaga. Ako nga inaabot ng ilang araw bago makapag-isip ng plot.
And planning a plot is also not that easy. Yung plot kasi, hindi s'ya yung scenario na basta na lang
pumasok sa isip mo. Yung plot, d'yan dadaloy yung story mo. Every chapter dapat pinaghahandaan,
pinagpaplanuhan.

PLOT:

Ito yung pinakamahirap. Mahirap mag-isip ng plot. Ano yung plot? Dito nakapaloob lahat ng pasikot-
sikot sa story mo. It contains that exposition, rising action, conflict, falling action and the denouement.

CHARACTERS:

This is very important. You must know all your characters. Dapat is alam mo bawat detail, maliit man
'yan o malaki. Dapat kilala mo ang characters mo, 'yung personality nila, their attitude, 'yon.

IN TYPINGS:

Dapat 'pag nagsusulat ka, importante rin na obserbahan ang typings. Ano ang tamang typings?

1. Kapag nagtutuldok ka, mag space ka muna, bago ka magtype ng susunod na sentence.
Observe this.

a. She is beautiful.I love her. ❌

b. She is beautiful. I love her. ✔️

2. Use proper apostrophes.

niya [ nya ❌ n'ya ✔️]

siya [ sya ❌ s'ya ✔️]

ganoon [ gano'n ]

doon [ do'n ]

and so on and so for.

3. The grammar.

4. Be wordy.

You can find in;

• musics.

• fav dramas. [ hindi naman literal na gagayahin, just get some ideas. ]

etc.

Take note the PLAGIARISM & CRITICISM.

PLAGIARISM is yung pagnanakaw ng story na hindi naman sayo. Kaya 'pag may kumuha o nagnakaw ng
story mo, 'wag mong palampasin yon. Punishable yon ng law.

CRITICISM is yung mga puna na natatanggap mo sa mga readers mo. Dapat is highly open for criticism
ka. Dapat tumatanggap ka ng comments or feedback sa ibang tao, or sa readers mo. And take note,
minsan hindi talaga natin maiiwasan na may mga readers tayong bida-bida, and ayaw ng stories natin
tapos iba-bash tayo. But don't get affected by their words, instead, make them an inspiration para mas
gumaling pa. There's always a room for improvement.

Remember to write to express, not to impress.
