Loop Statements
1. for loop
2. while loop
3. do-while loop
for(int i=0;i<10;i++)
System.out.println(i);
}
}
Exection will stop. Program counter will come outside the loop and first
statement outside for loop will be get executed.
while(condition)
{
//looping statements
}
The flow chart for the while loop is given in the following image.
Consider the following example.
Calculation .java
public class Calculation
{
public static void main(String[] args) {
int i = 0;
System.out.println("Printing the list of first 10 even numbers \n");
while(i<=10)
{
System.out.println(i);
i = i + 2;
}
}
}
Output:
0
2
4
6
8
10
do
{
//statements
} while (condition);
The flow chart of the do-while loop is given in the following image.
Consider the following example to understand the functioning of the do-
Calculation.java
1. public class Calculation {
2. public static void main(String[] args) {
3. // TODO Auto-generated method stub
4. int i = 0;
5. System.out.println("Printing the list of first 10 even numbers \n");
6. do {
7. System.out.println(i);
8. i = i + 2;
9. }while(i<=10);
10. }
11. }
Output:
0
2
4
6
8
10
