CHAPTER III

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

This chapter discussed the Research Methodology that was used in

conducting the study. This section includes the research method used,

population size, sampling method and data collection procedure.

METHOD OF RESEARCH

The researcher chose a descriptive research design in gathering needed

information for this study. Specifically the researchers utilized a questionnaire

type of descriptive research method which enables the researchers to gather

information from the respondents without the having any difficulties in answering

the questions required for the researchers to have information regarding the

buying decision in convenience store among Grade 11 ABM Students of Sta.

Elena High School. This method enables the researcher to answer the questions

and the purposes of this study.

POPULATION SIZE

The population of the said respondents consisted of five (5) anonymous

subjects who answered questions for the researchers to know what is the factors

that affects the buying decision in convenience stores among students. The

respondents may or may not include their names their names in giving

information in the interview of buying decision in convenience stores.

DATA-COLLECTION PROCEDURE

The research study utilized the descriptive method. The following

procedure was made to gather the data needed for the study.

1. Respondents are interviewed and their answer for the provided questions

for the interview is being written word by word for full utilization of the said

topic.

2. The answers for the five said respondents are formulated specify the

gathered information from the respondents.

3. Answers are formulated to know what is the factor that affects the buying

decision among students.
