This was the moment the millions of Gayatri Pariwar devotees all over world have been waiting for and have been actively engaged in its painstaking preparations, has finally arrived. The start of the Year 2011 marks a year-long celebration to commemorate 100 years of our revered Gurudev. For the first time ever, in the history of Gayatri Pariwar, millions of devotees across more than 40,000 localities in India and more than 2400 cities of 80 countries around the world will celebrate the 100th birthday of their Guru. As part of the celebrations and of particular interest and relevance is the function related to the Sijan Sankalpa Mahotsava and Gyatr Mah Yagya, which will take place in Haridwar, India, from the 6th to 10th November 2011. This is really going to be an extraordinarily mammoth event. About 10-15 million devotees have been estimated to take part in the event from across the world. The whole city of Haridwar will resonate with Gayatri. There will be a 1551-Kuni Yagna. Each day will witness a carnival represented by various regions of India and different countries. About 10 per cent of devotees are expected to take a pledge, plan strategies and action plans to advance good work in their respective area. The event will take place over an area of 460 sq.km. in the vicinity of the Ganga and the Himalaya Mountains. As can be seen from the above, it will be a Once In A Lifetime Spiritual Experience.
