Political factors

Political environmental factors refers to the external factors that are related to public affairs of a
country or government that are influencing companies e.g Zong being a telecommunication
service of “PAKISTAN” a nation going through political instability , which itself is a danger for
telecom industry but zong won’t be affected that much as zong is owned by a china company so
such kind of instability won’t affect zong legal environmental factors
Law and order : Legal factors have also impact on business. Tariffs, costs, rates, installation
charges, line rent, connection charge, equipment price, SIM card price, verification charges,
Visitor location Register (VLR) and charges for value added services and other charges, fees and
other payments as defined and brought into Customer’s notice from time to time subject to the
approval of the Authority. Taxes are imposed in accordance with applicable laws, rules and
regulations.1
