I do not know if all of you would agree when I tell you that technology has the power

to make learning more engaging. Tablets and smartboards, tvs are common sights in
classrooms now. These devices have ushered in a new era of teaching methods.
Teachers who once stood in front of a classroom in a cloud of chalk dust and amidst the
grinding sound of pencils being sharpened are now using digital tools to engage their
students in the learning process.
I believe that it is when students are engaged and interested, that they will be able to
learn. Ako personally, bilang isa man ka.teacher, daw indi ako mabuhi without utilizing
the products of the digital era. I am guilty beyond reasonable doubt that I am highly
dependent with laptop and tv inside the classroom. Feeling ko daw ka.efficient kag daw
ka.effective kanakon nga teacher if am integrating technology in my classroom. Or basi
feeling ko lang.

Anyway, this district roll-out is about embracing digital utilities that we can use in
teaching mathematics. Specifically, this will focus on how to utilize and integrate
geogebra in our classrooms. Some of you, may be all of you would think that, hmm indi
man ran namon maggamit gid kay mahina signal sa area namon, waay man enough
laptops or computers ang school, or pang.higher grades lang dia guro. Well, we share
the same sentiments. Pero ako even though I have some inhibitions, ginatry ko man
gihapon to learn something new kay basi maabot ang time nga maggamit ko man siya
gihapon. Just like what Miss Universe 2018, Catriona Gray said, always see situations
with a silver lining. We have to look on the brighter side, on the positive side or uses of
this geogebra. Tutal, nag.uyang or mauyang na man lang kita kang aton inoras kag
tiyempo for this roll-out, why not spend it productively. Embrace Mr. Geogebra with
open minds, open hearts and open hands. Kay sure gid ako, nga kahit papaano, may
malearn kita, kag may pagagamitan gid kita kay Geogebra.

Kag isa pa, I put my 100% trust and confidence sa aton resource speakers. Ginataya ko
ang sinsilyo kang akon year-end bonus kananda nga duha. We have sir Marion King
Celendro for elementary and Maam Mary Dee Cadiz for secondary. They have attended
the 3-day training workshop for this.

Suppose to be this is a 2-day roll-out pero ti daw kaya man nga icompress in one day,
so 1 day lang kita. Pero sa aton nga district memo and training matrix, 2 days siya. And
sa aton nga closing program, indi lang certificate and appearance ang mabaton ninyo,
but we included the district memo and the training matrix. The reason is, tulad
magpapromote kita, indi enough nga certificate lang attach ta. Dapat may memo,
matrix of activities, authority to travel, kag kung ano pa jan nga attachments.

To end, Technology is the future of education. It’s everywhere, and it’s how we learn
most things in this day and age. Teaching students without technology would be like
teaching them before there was pen or paper: impossible to do well!” Thank you and
