PROCESS DIAGRAM

OVERVIEW:

- How many stages are there

- State all the main stages
- No need to mention it’s a “man-made’ process since its already obvious

DETAILS:

- How to group information:

+ group stages having the same information in the same paragraph
- If you don’t know the name of the machine specifically just call it machine
- Show purpose ( to/ which/ so that) * but if you don’t know the purpose of the machine 9( which
is not included in the title) then you’d better write nothing about it

GLASS RECYCLING PROCESS

The diagram illustrates the process in which the glass is recycled.

Overall, the process of glass recycling consists cyclically of three main stages: starting with used- glass
being collected and recycled before a new product is manufactured.

The waste is first being collected from trash cans in different areas, before it is transported to a recycling
center. When this used glass is gathered at the same place, it is then categorized into different groups by
color before being processed.

During the operation of reproduce, the glass is initially crushed into small pieces by a glass grinding
machine. These shards of glass are then being purified before they are put into a machine, which will
later melt all these fragments so they can be easily poured into a mold to produce a new bottle. After
the bottles are manufactured, they are organized and then be for sale in the market

THE HYDROLOGIC CYCLE (WATER CYCLE)

The diagram depicts the natural phenomenon which is the cycle of water.
Overall, the hydrologic cycle cyclically consists of four main stages, namely: transpiration, condensation,
evaporation and precipitation

Firstly, water from the oceans evaporates into the air under the heat from the sun. This process is then
followed by the condensation of these water vapour in the clouds.

In the next stage, when the clouds are too heavy or full of water vapours, then occurs precipitation.
Afterwards, these raindrops merge with the snow, which lies on the peak of the mountains, and has
already melted. These waterdrops then fall into lakes and are absorbed into the grounds. Lastly,
groundwater flow is formed and this movement flows back into the ocean.

The diagram illustrates the process by which plastic

bottles are recycled. Overall, the process of plastic
bottles recycle consists of 3 main stages: collecting
bottles, the process of manufacturing and producing
end products.

Firstly, when the bottles are thrown away by

consumers, they are soon being picked up from these
trash cans by a recycling company. These bottles are
then transported to a recycling center, where they will
be sorted whether they fit as the standards or not.
Those which are acceptable are then continue to be
recycled.

Later, these bottles are compressed into huge blocks

before being crushed by a grind machine into small
fragments. These pieces then are purified and later are
put into another machine, in which these fragments turn into plastic pellets. Right after that, the pellets
are heated in order to form raw material before being converted into end products, such as: water
bottles or shirts.
